Parco-ya is a department store in Ueno which has a great range of popular fashion boutiques, cafes, and a restaurant floor. This department store has 6 floors above ground and one basement level (B1) which connects directly to the food market of Matsuzakaya department store next door. There are also walkways between the two department stores from Parco-ya’s 6th and 3rd floors. The 7th to 10th floors of the Parco-ya building are occupied by a branch of Toho Cinemas.

MAC Cosmetics on the 1st floor
On the first floor there are a range of cosmetics of cosmetic boutiques, but also Onitsuka Tiger shoes for men and women, Kate Spade bags, CA4LA hats, Hervé Chapelier accessories, as well as a stationary and a liquor store.

Margaret Howell on the 2nd floor
On the 2nd floor you can find men’s and ladies’ fashions from brands such as Paul Smith, Diesel, Margaret Howell, and Issey Miyake.

Harbs Café on the 2nd floor
There is also a café on the 2nd floor called Harbs which specializes in coffee and cake.

On the 3rd floor there are more men’s and ladies’ fashions, leather goods, watches, shoes and a branch of the Japanese sweets parlour Anmitsu Mihashi.

The 4th floor has a branch of the interior goods store Unico, and cosmetics stores such as the Body Shop and Urban Comfort.

On the 5th floor you can find high quality casual wear for men and women at Urban Research Store. There is also a branch of Starbucks Coffee on this floor.

The 6th floor is the restaurant floor which has restaurants serving sushi, tempura, teppan-yaki, buckwheat noodles, yaki-niku grilled beef, hamburger steak, as well as a Chinese restaurant and a wine bar.

Floors 7-10 are occupied by a branch of the movie theatre chain Toho Cinemas. This cinema’s opening hours vary according to the film schedule, but it is usually open from around 8.30 or 9.00 in the morning.

The basement (B1) level is occupied mainly by shoe stores but there is also a tourist information counter and Ueno themed souvenirs such as cuddly panda toys.

Facilities
Restrooms are available on floors 2-6. There is a nursing room for mothers with babies on the 3rd floor. On the 5th floor there is a 7-bank ATM which takes most major international bank cards and has multilingual guidance. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the building.
Location
Parco-ya is located on Chuo Dori Avenue and is highly convenient for public transport. It is a 2 minute walk from JR Okachimachi Station on the Keihin-Tohoku and Yamanote lines. From JR Ueno Station it is a 7 minute walk and from Keisei Ueno Station it is a 5 minute walk. Naka-Okachimachi Station on Tokyo Metro’s Hibiya Line is 3 minutes away. Both Ueno-Hirokoji Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line and Ueno-Okachimachi Station on the Toei Oedo Line are just 1 minute from this store.
