Breakfast is served in the Breakfast Corner on the 20th floor each morning from 6.30 to 9.00 with last entry at 8.45. This is a buffet breakfast of both Western and Japanese-style dishes which includes bread, rice, soup, fruits, salad, eggs, sausages, hot coffee, and fresh juice. Breakfast costs 1,000 yen and can be pre-booked with your room reservation or ordered after your arrival at the hotel’s front desk.
For other meals there are a great variety of restaurants in the area around the hotel which include casual izakaya-style Japanese pubs, Korean and Vietnamese restaurants, and Japanese restaurants serving sushi, yaki-tori-style grilled chicken, and fugu (blowfish). There is a 24-hour 7-11 convenience store on the 1st floor of the hotel building. Here you can buy cheap snacks, drinks, and other daily groceries.

This hotel has a 24-hour reception desk. Check-in time is from 15.00 and check-out time is by 10.00. Baggage can be left at reception before checking in or after checking out. Staff at the reception desk can also call taxis for guests on request.

Hotel Life Tree Ueno occupies the 20th to the 24th floors of the Ueno East Tower building. This building is a 5 minute walk from JR Ueno Station, 6 minutes from Keisei Ueno Station, and just 2 minutes from Ueno Subway Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya and Ginza lines. Here is a map showing the hotel’s location. The entrance to the hotel is located beside the 7-11 on the 1st floor. Look out for the hotel’s “L” sign and it is easy to find.
