Hotel Graphy Nezu is a stylish and contemporary mid-range hotel offering a range of comfortable accommodation options and superb shared facilities. This hotel has a great range of communal spaces in which to relax, mingle, and meet other travelers. Many of the facilities, such as the café-bar area, are also open to the public, so that guests can also mix with locals.
Located in the quiet backstreets to the west of Ueno Park, this hotel is convenient for Ueno Park, Ueno’s best museums, and also for the downtown shopping streets of the Yanaka district.
Guest Rooms
Hotel Graphy Nezu has a good range of room types to suit different budgets. Guest rooms come with double, king-sized, or twin beds, and can be had with a private bathroom or with access to a shared bathroom. All guest rooms have a TV, a desk and chair, an alarm clock, a desk lamp, a floor lamp, a refrigerator, a kettle, towels, toothbrush sets, a hair dryer, slippers.
All rooms are also equipped with air conditioning, heating and free Wi-Fi internet access. Private bathrooms and shared bathrooms are all supplied with shampoo, conditioner, and bath mats. Shared bathrooms and showers are available 24 hours a day.
In addition to the regular amenities a combined humidifier and air purifier, and an iron with an ironing board are available to borrow from the front desk.
All guests are also given a free Handy smartphone with unlimited internet access which they can use throughout their stay. The smartphone has apps for maps, train times, and local sightseeing tips, which makes it really useful for exploring Tokyo. The Handy can also be used to make free domestic calls and international calls to a limited number of countries.

Breakfast & Dining
Breakfast is available in the hotel café which is located on the first floor. Breakfast costs 1,000 yen for which you get a choice of one item from the morning menu + all-you-can drink from the breakfast drinks list. Breakfast choices include hotcakes, omelettes, thick cut toast, granola, or the sandwich of the day. Drinks available include coffee, tea, and juice.
The café stays open throughout the day serving artisanal coffee and simple meals such as hamburgers, sandwiches and curry. In the evening the cafe is converted into a relaxing bar space offering a variety or alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and a great space to unwind and mix with other guests and local patrons. The café-bar area is open from 7.00 to 23.00 with last food orders at 22.00 and last drinks orders at 22.30.
For guests who prefer self-catering, the hotel also has a large shared kitchen which is fully stocked with stoves, refrigerators, rice cookers, microwave ovens, an espresso machine, and all the equipment you might need to cook your own meals. The kitchen is open 24 hours a day, so you can grab a bite to eat at any time. The hotel dining area is connected directly to the kitchen and has large tables and chairs, so guests can sit down and enjoy fresh-cooked meals in a comfortable communal space.
Other Services & Facilities
Staff at the front desk are very friendly, speak English and are happy to help with sightseeing inquiries, or to assist with restaurant or taxi bookings. Front desk staff can also help with express deliveries within Japan, and they can store your luggage for free before you check in and after you check out. Check-in time is from 15.00 to 23.00. Check-out is by 10.00.
Shared social spaces at Hotel Graphy Nezu include the lounge with its sofas, chairs, big-screen TV, and two desktop computers, the rooftop terrace with its view over the neighborhood, and the café terrace where you can enjoy a drink or a meal while watching the world go by. There is also a tatami floored studio space which is used for irregular yoga sessions and local art exhibitions.

Bicycles are available to rent at the hotel. These are perfect for exploring the quaint backstreets of the Yanesen district where the hotel is located. Bicycles are available for 200 yen per hour, or 1,200 yen for a day.
Location
Hotel Graphy Nezu is located in a quiet area on the west side of Ueno Park. It is a 4 minute walk from Nezu Station on the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line, a 15 minute walk from JR Ueno Station, 15 minutes also from Ueno Subway Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza and Hibiya lines, and 12 minutes from Keisei Ueno Station.
